Maria S. Santos, 91, of Central Falls, RI passed away on May 21, 2025. Born in Brava, Cape Verde to the late Clamintinha Silva. She was the loving wife to the late Domingos Dos Santos.

She was survived by her children the late Jose Silva and the late Cidalia De Pina, Ana Silva, Henry (Djica) Silva, Julia Silva, Paula Santos, Marcelino (Charlie) Santos, John Santos, Daniel Santos, Sara Santos, Michelle Santos, and David Santos. She leave behind 38 Grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great- grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Maria came to the US in 1976, her first job was at School House Candy Factory in Pawtucket where she worked for a decade. She also worked another decade at Providence Medalizing company in Pawtucket where she and her late husband retired from. Maria was the matriarch of her family, a mother to many. She continued to help her Cape Verdean community over the years by giving back to her country. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and caregiving. She use to say that Elvis Presley was her boyfriend and Barack Obama was her husband. She will be forever in our hearts and greatly missed by all.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 28, 2025 from 9am-11am followed by a funeral home service starting at 11am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Pawtucket.
